Welcome to the Document Management Systems Adventure

Welcome to the Document Management Systems adventure! But we’re talking about Document Management Systems understood not from a theoretical point of view or from vacuous articles. More like how we see it: Document Management Systems as an adventure, with the experience and lessons learned that you only get by being immersed in it.

More than 10 years ago, we started a project that nowadays is called Athento. This started us off on this odyssey of creating document management system software. We have had to learn about Document Management Systems through trial and error: testing, brainstorming, innovating, and sharing real experiences with the users. So far in our journey, we have had around 250 experiences.

Today, we can say that we have gathered quite a bit of experience. Experiences that we would like to share with you, our fellow guerrillas on this mission of making Document Management Systems a reality in your companies or institutions.

Our objective is to share knowledge about the critical aspects we know make a difference in a Document Management System project that we have had to learn throughout these almost 13 years of experiences.
